Choosing a pixel pitch
Pixel pitch is the distance in millimeters between LED centers. A smaller number means a finer image that holds up closer to the viewer; a larger number costs less and still looks sharp from farther away. The right choice depends mostly on how far away your traffic is when they read the sign.
| Pixel pitch | Typical use |
|---|---|
| P4.81 | Storefront signs and billboards read from closer range |
| P6 | Roadside signs and mid-distance billboard faces |
| P10 and up | Highway billboards viewed from a long distance |
