Three file types, one job: telling the sign what it is made of. This app reads them in plain English and builds new ones from the sizes you measured.
Build a sign file
Enter section size, module size, how many across and down, and which way the cable runs. You get a screen map and a file to load.
Read a file
Open any .ssr, .sss or .ssx you already have and see the sizes, modules, scan, driver chip and picture settings spelled out.
The three file types
- .ssx — receiving card settings, plain text
- The easiest one to work with. Everything the receiving card needs: module size, scan, driver chip, brightness and picture settings.
- .sss — the whole screen
- Same kind of settings plus the screen map: how many sections, where each one sits, and the order the cable runs through them.
- .ssr — receiving card settings, packed
- The same information as a .ssx, saved in a packed form with its text stored back to front. The app handles that for you.
Before sending anything to a card, read its current settings in HD Player and save a copy. A wrong scan or driver chip can leave a panel dark.
